Innovate Carolina and the Office of Commercialization and Economic Development at UNC selected 6 companies to invite to present in the social/tech track of the showcase that year. They gave us a booth and had us do a presentation to an audience of about 150 people. It was pretty fun, but no real useful contacts came out of it or anything (consequence of being in a small pond, I suppose).
