Objective:

To find out which citrus product is the most reactive when exposed to baking soda.

Procedure:

1.Fill a 16 OZ bottle half way with baking soda.
2.Add 4 tablespoons to the first citrus product (extracted lemons) to the bottle and measure how long it takes for the bottle to burst or crack.
3.Record observations.
4.Get another 16 OZ bottle bottle and add 6 tablespoons to a bottle that is 3/4ths full of baking soda.
5.Make Observations

Hypothesis:

I hypothesize that the bottle with not explode or crack in any way. I hypothesize that the pressure in the bottle will build and possible inflate the bottle, and given an extreme amount of pressure may pop the top off.
