Constantine, lived (272 - 337 AD)

Constantine decided it would be easier to rule rome divided, builds a Eastern Capital: Constantinople.   313 Edict of Milan, legalized Christianity. 

By 395 AD - Eastern Roman Empire breaks away, later becomes Byzantium - doesn’t fall until 1453. 

Western Roman Empire fell 476 AD 
			To the Visigoths who invaded the city.
