It's pretty fucked up how difficult a task getting help can be and how you have to do it when you're mentally at your worst.

    • Out of network. $450. He said that my current medications sound reasonable, nothing glaring, when he asked why the urgency to see him.
    • He said Baywell psychiatry would be good to check, but they were fully booked.
      • They recommended community psychiatry, pacific coast psychiatry, and california pacific medical center.
  • Dr. Hausman
    • Out of network. Waiting for call back.
    • He said he could see me just for an initial consultation, $295, then one follow up $175. But not more after that. Would need to establish myself with a psychiatrist.
  • Dr. Zussman.
    • Out of network. Waiting for call back. 180$ for med checks $350 for initial consultation. If I called a minute or two, no charge. Had time available on Mon, Tue, and Wed. Could easily see him and stick with him I believe.

    • Left message. He went through the list with me for 5 minutes and recommended many names, said to call him again if I can't get in with any of them, and we'll keep going through the list.
    • He says I can continue to call him, but should leave my name and number.
    • He took a look at Joe Walker, and said he was fine to try. He said he had a colleague who was friends with Joe Walker, and spoke highly of him.
