Granny's grandmother Isabel O'Keefe (called her "Bell" Kennedy), her maiden name was Kennedy. Thomas J O'keefe (he was a sea capitan, didn't have an education, he had a problem with alcohol), she was probably 18 or 19 when they moved. They had 4 girls and 2 boys, one of the girls was C Marjorie (Columbia), who was Granny's mother, another girl was Isabel O'Keefe, who was granny's aunt (and she married John Sylvester, who was British). They had two boys (Jackie and John Sylvester). Before Bell O'Keefe she got married, her last name was Kennedy. Isabel O'Keefe was the cousin of Georgia O'Keefe.
Isabel O'Keefe probably died in her early 50's, she had an ulcer on her leg, everyone was waiting on her. She moved to Massachusetts, her children were born in Massachusetts.
Joe Kennedy was considered a ruffian, because he was a bootlegger, he had a submarine filled with gin during prohibition. Joe Kennedy was Isabel Kennedy's brother. Joe Kennedy was John F Kennedy's father. Joe Kennedy wasn't allowed in Bell Kennedy's front door (his own sister), because he was a bootlegger (1920's).
During the Civil War, Isabel O'Keefe and Thomas O'keefe moved from Baltimore to Harbor grace, Newfoundland, and bought up tons of land, and let their "slaves"/"protectorates" and let their slaves free.
Eileen O'keefe, was granny's aunt. She ran western electric for years, she was the book keeper.
Isabel O'Keefe, married John Salvester.
Halina O'Keefe married John Donahue.
Columbia Margarie (my great or great great grandmother) married John Paul Sweeney.
