I don’t see the problem with using Sparknotes when students are not punished for simply memorizing formulae and plugging in values without understanding what’s really going on. Sparknotes is just summarizing the facts and it does not give you a deep understanding of the book just like plugging in values does not give you a deep understanding of the mathematics.
