Applications Comparison:
Mail took the same amount of time to open, Safari took 2.6 seconds to open on the PowerBook and took 1.7 seconds to open on the MacBook. iChat took .5 seconds longer to open on the PowerBook than on the MacBook. iTunes took 9.3 seconds to open and load on the PowerBook and it took 6 seconds to open on the MacBook. iPhoto took 10.4 seconds to load on the PowerBook and it took 5.2 to open on the MacBook. Pages took 6.9 seconds to open on the PowerBook and 1.4 to open on the MacBook.

When searching a single character it took 6.2 seconds to find on the PowerBook and 1.7 to find on the MacBook.

Movie in Finder Comparison:
Playing a Movie using the PowerBook was very blocky, usually the reflection was chunky giving it a slow feel, unlike the MacBook which played the movie perfectly.
