Confrontation with police regarding other matters:
* Right to record things in plain view when on public property or private property with consent of over: 1st amendment.
* Can't interfere with police business. But they'll make that claim even if you're not. Just take one step back.
* Right to remain silent and not self-incriminate or provide any identifying information to police officers: 5th amendment.
* Right to not disclose or allow deletion of any photos or videos, or have a device seized without a warrant: 4th amendment (searches and seizures)
* Police cannot detain you without reasonable suspicion that you have or are about to commit a crime or are in the process of doing so.
* If you are stopped, ask the officer if you are free to leave or ask "am I being detained?". If the answer is no, calmly walk away.
