When I moved into my first place that I wasn't sharing with a girlfriend, I decided I wanted to do everything I could to make it as perfect and mine as possible. It took about 4 months to renovate it, working almost only full-time researching each item, going to every store that sells products that I think look nice: Crate & Barrel, CB2, Mji, West Elm, Target, IKEA, the Container Store, and the MoMa Design Store. After multiple visits and research, I slowly began compiling a list of everything I was going to buy.
