I'd like for other religions to protest the building of Churches just to highlight this entire ordeal's frivolity. Anyway, I just heard this story. It's pretty great, I'm not sure if you were listening too. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=129384107 Nicole Gerber Aug 26, 2010, 2:19 PM to me Joe, As a matter of fact, the whole situation regarding the Anti-Islamic sentiment in our country is making me kind of depressed, and not so proud to be American. Thanks for sending me that link. I had seen the article, thought of you, then never got around to reading it. I was fascinated by the discussion because, while most of the stuff about technology providing constant stimuli and never allowing our brains down-time to process information seems like common sense, I would never have thought to put it in those terms. What did you think about the various hypotheses? I was very impressed that the guest on the program emphasized the preliminary and inconclusive aspect of the data and theory as a whole. Hope the school year has begun splendidly. The pictures Ryan sent me made my day, especially the one with you and Chad. Sincerely, Nicole
