An email I wrote to the principal (who was also my english teacher at one point). He and I had a good relationship, but I really didn't like to read. I was almost always on my computer in his class, usually coding some physics/math thing, and one time I went to the bathroom and when I came back I saw that someone had put the book we were supposed to be reading open face down on my keyboard. I looked at him and we made eye contact and I gave a nod and picked up the book.
