Every so often doing development, Chrome would crash and it would take my machine with it. It was weird.

Comment 10 by ccameron@chromium.org on Fri, May 5, 2017, 4:41 PM EDT Project Member more_vert Labels: Needs-Feedback Which hardware is this occurring on? Could you attach an about:gpu from this machine? Note that if this is on unsupported hardware, then stability may require that you disable hardware acceleration until a more stable driver is released. Comment 11 by josephpuccio@gmail.com on Fri, May 5, 2017, 6:53 PM EDT more_vert I'm running a 2016 Apple Macbook Pro. I have two graphics cards: an integrated and a discrete. I've attached about:GPU for both. If you can't tell for sure by the crash reports, my guess is the crashes occurred while the integrated GPU was in use. Integrated: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 Discrete: AMD Radeon Pro 460 Comment 13 by enne@chromium.org on Fri, May 12, 2017, 4:27 PM EDT Project Member more_vert Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed) It sounds like this is pretty bad, although we haven't seen this happen more widely. ccameron recommends against blacklisting all cards with this driver until we see more reports. josephpuccio: we recommend that you go to chrome://settings -> advanced settings -> uncheck "use hardware acceleration when possible" and restart Chrome. That should stop the crashing for you. Am going to WontFix for now. Was just curious if other people have been having this issue as I got a kernel panic three times today (requiring a reboot).
