Hi Mariella,

I was just reading your most recent article entitled “SpaceX launches DSCOVR but scrubs its barge landing” and I was a little confused by the following statement: "Falcon 9's first stage flew in from a much farther location than before -- almost a million miles away, four times further than the moon”. I’m not entirely sure, but was the "almost a million miles away" figure intended to refer to the orbit distance of the rocket’s payload, the DSCOVR, rather than the distance the Falcon 9 would fly in from?

Thanks,

Joe

Yes! It's the figure intended to refer to the orbit distance. Thanks for pinging me -- there were some missing words in the piece.
