An email to my mom about me doing the yearbook for the school.
read moreHi Beth, I heard that you are having such a good time at the beach that you decided to stay the whole week. I am happy for you, just soak up some sun and some peace and quiet for me as well, and while you are having yours have one of those beach drinks for me too. (lol) This may be duplicating what either Peter and/or Melissa already relayed to you and/or Joseph, if it is just ignore this part of the email. I sort of handed over the overseeing of the yearbook to Melissa so I could help with the costumes for the play (isn't it funny how that seems to follow me). Anyway, Melissa and Joseph had planned on finishing the yearbook this week so they could just pop in a few pictures when they come back from the solo and we could drive it out to the printers that very Friday. We have everything arranged with them, so they could have it back to us for the last day of the school and the children could use it to write their final good byes etc. in the blank pages during that day. Joseph does have the bulk of the book on his computer and he had volunteered to help finish it. We are down to crunch time on this. I believe Melissa has tried to put her backup on someones computer but the format is incompatible. Now I wish I would have said yes to that Mac Book for Mothers Day instead of ordering a car (well, maybe not). Anyway, Joseph is great at doing this stuff and seems to have fun doing it, which is why we were not worried at all that he could complete the work. By the way I saw the video he put together for your Mothers Day present - what a hoot. I am sure Joseph has his computer with him at the beach and knowing him he probably spends more time with it then in the Ocean. Maybe he and Melissa could work on it together remotely - sounds rather high tech, but I think it could be done. Let me know what you think about my suggestion Maria
