A lot of my early programming was designed around helping my girlfriend remember her birth control. The first iPhone app I created (and published to the App Store) was called OneTask, which would ensure you get your most important daily task done. You could set push notification reminders and it would text or email a number or email of your choice when you completed the task. This was basically automating the process that my girlfriend and I were already doing for her birth control. Once you tapped "done", the background would change to another photo. The idea was that the user would be motivated to see the next photo and that would help motivate them to tap "done". Probably the thing I liked most about the app was the icon I designed with Adobe Illustrator.
