It was pretty incredible how many people would be "checked out" in class, rather engaged with the content. Admittedly, this was a remarkably dull class with content even I found unimaginably boring (COMP 455, Models of Languages and Computation taught by David Plaisted) which was for some reason required. So I don't entirely blame them, but rather than doing something productive, they just play games? I obviously love to game, but I don't want to half-ass gaming and school at the same time.
