There’s a reason people distract themselves.

There’s a reason they drink. They watch sports. Their hobbies just remain that. They collect material goods.

It’s a way they stay in their place in the social fabric. They don’t move around and disturb the way things are going.

They have to. They don’t know why they do, though.

They just do it because it’s all they know. They just neglect their issues. They don’t want to talk about things that they feel uncomfortable about. They don’t face the truth.

You shouldn’t value what you do.

You should do what you value.

It's like we're all filibustering life and the important things.
